Stephanie Eddins, 39, of Jasper passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with interment to follow at Eddins Family Cemetery.  The family will greet friends at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. 

     Stephanie was born on January 10, 1978 in Dallas, Texas to William Gibbons and Cynthia Rae Kellum.  A sweet and energetic soul, she grew up in Nocona, Texas, graduated from Midwestern State University in 2001, and pursued the field of education.  Stephanie was a true educator, she loved children and loved watching them grow in their learning.  She took her role as teacher seriously and worked every day for the children in her class and in the districts she taught.  She was rewarded for her dedication not once, but twice.  She received Teacher of the Year awards from Brookeland ISD and Colmesneil ISD.   A true Christian, she was a devout believer and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.  She loved God, her students, but most importantly her family.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, daughter-in-law, and aunt.  On August 23,2000, she married Justin Eddins and they started their family, which gave Stephanie the role of mother.  She was a loving, active, and supporting mother to her three beautiful children, Emily, Katelynn, & Landon.  Her soul will leave behind a footprint that all will remember and all will know they had the privilege and honor of knowing her.

     She is survived by her husband Justin Eddins of Jasper; son Landon Eddins, daughters Emily & Katelynn Eddins; mother Cindy McMahon & husband Fred of Jasper; father Bill Gibbons & wife Beverly of Edgewood, Tx; brother Ben Gibbons & wife Caci of Edgewood, Tx; sister Jennifer Grell & husband Jim of Edgewood, Tx; a step-dad of many years Lonnie Diehl of Jasper; in-laws Roy Charles & Kathy Eddins of Jasper; a host of nieces & nephews; and a host of students that will remember the love she shared with all of them.
